Whitney Houston’s funeral will only be attended by her close family, and apparently that doesn’t mean Bobby Brown.
Houston’s family has requested that the R&B boy bander-turned-bad boy not attend a private memorial service for the singer on Saturday.
The service will be held at Whitney’s childhood church in New Jersey, and insiders explain that Houston’s rowdy ex will most likely be turned away if he tries to show up. The “I Will Always Love You” singer suffered a major career setback after admitting that she’d abused drugs during her tumultuous 14 year marriage to Brown.
TMZ cites sources close to the “Don’t Be Cruel” hit-maker say he hasn’t been able to contact Bobbi Kristina since arriving in Los Angeles on Sunday night — this despite placing several phone calls and making an attempt to see her.
